I serve Shasta County and the surrounding areas. I am not licensed by CSLB, but I am currently working toward becoming licensed.

I'm a carpenter, finish carpenter, and woodworker working as a local handyman right here in Shasta County. This is where I grew up, and where I built the skills I bring to every job.

I follow one simple rule: quality first, always. Speed isn't something I chase directly — it's something that shows up on its own once a skill is truly learned. The more you do a job right, the faster "right" becomes, until good work and quick work are the same thing. If you want to be a craftsman rather than just another handyman, you cannot achieve speed by rushing. A rushed cut or a joint that doesn't quite close can be sanded, filled, or patched — but it's never quite the same as getting it right the first time. For this reason, I don't rush. I measure twice, dry-fit before I fasten, and check my work at every stage — not just at the end.

Even careful builders make mistakes. When I do, I fix them the right way, with real skill, not shortcuts, even if it costs me personally. I treat every material with care, because good work starts with respecting what you build with.

My approach is personal. When you work with me, you're getting someone who explains what needs to be done in plain terms, not construction jargon you have to look up. I treat every home I work on like it's my own, and I show up when I say I will. Most clients don't start out as friends — but by the time the job's done, they usually are.
